To support our ambitious growth, we are now looking for a a Senior Data Scientist (m/f) to join our Berlin team as soon as possible.

Your tasks - Paint the world green

• You analyze our data and prototype demand forecasting and customer behavior models
• You use statistical models to answer real-life questions like
• You answer questions such as “How many people will travel from Berlin to Munich during
• Octoberfest?”, “What are the effects of price changes?”, “What will be the new trending vacation destinations next summer?”
• You work closely with yield management, business intelligence and backend development teams on solutions for data-driven decision making
• You solve our complex business challenges with creative insights

Your Profile - Ready to hop on board

• 3+ years of experience in a relevant role
• Hands-on experience with various machine learning algorithms, statistics, algorithm design and complexity
• Fluency in at least one high-level programming language (Python, Scala, etc)
• Data visualisation skills (Seaborn, Bokeh, D3, etc)
• Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, Big data tools (Spark, Hadoop, etc)
• Very strong communication and presentation skills
• High level of business acumen and value first thinking
